Welcome to the home page for the 2021 Malta Invitational 2021 tournament hosted by MALTA Jr/Sr HIGH SCHOOL DIST on Nov 20, 2021 for High School students.

Status: Tournament Completed
Just a few notes before the final countdown. Because I have a few categories that don't have competitors, I am opening up DOI for more competitors. To keep the number of judges needed down, I will be combining some categories. 
 
Later this week I hope to have concession prices and local food information available to you.

Hello Northern B/C Speech and Drama Coaches:

 

You are officially and finally invited to the in-person Malta High School Invitational Speech/Drama/Debate tournament on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

 

Registration: Registration will open Monday, October 25, 2021 on https://forensicstournament.net/maltaMT/21 Please enter your preliminary registration as soon as humanly possible so I can determine my number of judges. I will be limiting this tournament to Northern B/C teams only and initially limiting each event to 1 section of 8 entries. I am trying to keep the numbers down so I don't have to call in many of my older judges. Final registration will be due Tuesday, November 16, 2021 by 6:00 pm.

 

Entry Fees: Entry fees will be $5.00 per student, based on the entries entered on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Drops happen, especially with our current health and safety recommendations, please communicate drops in a timely manner.

 

Rules: The MHSA handbook rules will be enforced.

Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its protection of water resources in the United States.

Public Forum

Resolved: Increased United States federal regulation of cryptocurrency transactions and/or assets will produce more benefits than harms.

Concessions: We will have concessions plus soup/pizza and salad.

 

Students are reminded that they are guests and should act as such. No tampering with classrooms, computers, or teacher/student materials. Coaches are expected to monitor their students. The commons area for competitors will be in the gym. Please keep shoes off the floor.
