Welcome to the homepage for the BPCC Eddy Shell Invitational Debate Tournament.  Please see the invitation for complete information.

Everyone who will be logging into yaatly should be entered here in FTN.  In entries, please enter all competitors and judges in their respective categories.  For all other participants who will be logging into Yaatly (coaches, observers, preppers, etc.) please enter them under "coaches and observers." While we will not be charging a fee for these (and we ask you to please keep them to a minimum), we need to know how many total participants will be involved so that we can purchase the correct number of spaces in Yaatly.

Furthermore, while we have adopted minimal entry fees in attempt to offset some of the costs of hosting, we want to ensure the ability for all to participate regardless of ability to pay.  Accordingly, for any program whose budget has been significantly cut and/or eliminated we are happy to extend a fee waiver.  Please email Bob Alexander (balexander@bpcc.edu) to let him know you would like a fee waiver (so that we will have a record for budgeting purposes.

First, we hope that you and your teams are all safe. 

Second, we hope that you will be able to join us for the Eddy Shell Invitational online this weekend.  We’ve heard from several people voicing concerns over power and/or internet connectivity as a result of the storms that have impacted much of the region.  We don’t want to deny the opportunity to compete to anyone who may be uncertain at the original Tuesday entry deadline but that would be ready to compete by the time things kick off this weekend.  Accordingly, we are eliminating the Tuesday entry deadline and simply going to ask that all entries be submitted by noon on Thursday, February 18.  Beyond Thursday, we will eliminate drop fees for any student unable to participate due to power/internet connectivity.
