The USFG should pass a war powers resolution to end U.S. military involvement in Yemen’s civil war.

The USFG should establish a sixth branch of the armed forces, the U.S. Space Force

The USFG should pass, the Restoring Justice for Workers Act.

The USFG should abolish the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

The United Nations should withdraw its peacekeeping mission from Kosovo.

The USFG should significantly improve its transportation infrastructure.


COMPETITION

Six preliminary rounds followed by elimination rounds

Parliamentary debate - open for those eligible to attend NPDA this year

National Round Robin round format: 7-3-8-3-8-3-8-3-4-5 + 4 minutes of prep per team

On-time-every-time resolution announce (no roll call or waiting at announce)

20 minutes of preparation time + 2 minutes of walk time

Teams not ready to debate 22 minutes after topic announce will forfeit the round
 

We will break half the field to elimination rounds
National Round Robin elimination round format: each team brings a resolution to flips

Brackets will be broken in elimination rounds

Limited judge strikes available
 

ENTRIES

Entry deadline = Wednesday, November 14, 2018, 5:00 p.m. central time

Please enter your teams and judges on forensics.tournament.net by the deadline

 

FEES/JUDGE COMMITMENTS

Covered teams = FREE (one judge covers two teams)

Uncovered teams = $200 per team

All judges are obligated for one round after their squad’s elimination

Cash or check due at registration; make checks payable to: Washburn University
