Welcome to the last of the Concordia Eagle Public Forum Series tournaments for the 2023-2024 competitive season. This last tournament is slightly different than previous tournaments in that students may choose the topic that they wish to debate.
Topic #1: The United Nations should abolish permanent membership on its Security Council.
Topic #2: On balance, consuming meat does more harm than good.
The first topic (meat consumption) is intended to be a simplified topic appropriate for younger (elementary age) debaters.
The tournament is spread out over two Saturdays, with the first two rounds happening at 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm (Pacific time) on May 18th, while the last two rounds will occor on May 25th, also at 7:30 and 8:30 Pacific time. The schedule is below:
