Hello Speech, Drama, and Debate Coaches,

We would like to cordially invite your team to compete at the Choteau High School Frost and Flannel Filibuster Speech, Drama & Debate tournament on Saturday, December 21st, 2019.

This invitational will be open to the Northern B/C teams having priority and will be opened to waiting list as space and judges allow. I will post the current waiting list at the bottom of the invitation. Please have initial registrations entered by Monday, November 25th, but the sooner the better so we can give our waiting list friends plenty of time to make travel plans. Additions to existing registrations will be accepted until Monday, December 16th at 5:00 pm. The tournament will be set to drops only after that deadline and shutdown completely on Friday, December 20th at 8:00 am.

In the event that you have drops on Friday, December 20th or Saturday, December 21st please text ASAP so we can keep tabbing folders updated as much in advance as possible (406-590-5698). Drops the day of the tournament will not be charged a drop fee.

The entry fee is $5 per student. Each team will be charged a $5 fee to cover the costs of using the forensics website. All events will be held and B-C rules will be upheld. No more than 3 entries per event.

Registration will be held at the High School office from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Events will take place in the High School, Junior High, and Elementary buildings. All buildings are connected with no walking outdoors.

Student area will be in the High School Gym right near the concession stand.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for coaches, judges, and drivers in our hospitality room.

Concessions will be available from 8:00 am until awards begin. If coffee is on your list, the Close-Up coffee cart will be available for Lattes, Steams, Americanos, and Italian Sodas with proceeds helping to offset the cost of students traveling to Washington D.C. and New York City. For those of you that will overnight or are looking for food options, I will include menus and eating options in a future mailing.

We ask that coaches monitor their students at all times. All students are guests at the school and should respect both the public and private properties of the school and the classrooms.

We are so looking forward to hosting the holiday meet once again and hope that you and your team can make the journey!
