The Dallas Baptist University Debate Team eagerly invites you to attend the 4th annual DBU Invitational IPDA Tournament. The tournament will take place March 20-22, 2026. We are excited to offer all four IPDA divisions of individual debate as well as TIPDA. There will be six preliminary individual rounds and four team debate rounds. Outrounds will be determined based on the number of entries. Greyson Goebel will serve as Tournament Director and tab will be run by Preston Langley and Rigo Ruiz. We offer our warmest appreciation to our colleagues for volunteering their time and helping ensure that our tournament runs smoothly and efficiently. 

The competition will take place on top of the University Hill located on our beautiful campus. We also provide a number of food/drink options across campus. These will be open for the duration of the competition on Friday and Saturday.

The tournament fees for this tournament will be $25 per individual debate competitor and $50 per team. Cash payments are strongly preferred. The tournament will require you to bring along one judge for every four individual competitors and two teams. For each uncovered competitor, there will be an additional $20 charge. Please bring along judges to help with our judging pool!

Tournament registration closes on March 17th, at noon (CST). After this, there will be a $10 fee (each) for altering registrations. No changes will be accepted after noon (CST) on March 18th. The earlier, the better!
