Event Details
Date: Wednesday, November 18th, 2026
Production tie-in: Shrek the Musical!
Cost: $7/student for those students attending the performance
Show for Teachers, chaperones, and bus drivers– ATTEND FREE
Note: Due to the high number of schools that wish to attend, we will limit adult tickets to a maximum of 2 to allow as many students as possible to attend. If your students are not interested in the show, we have two other learning opportunities for students: DMP’s Shrek the Musical Proshot breakdown, or Talking Mules Speech and Debate Small Group Piece/Platform work sessions.
Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, is the final day to register your students! Registration will shut down before November 4th IF the event reaches capacity before the registration deadline, so please make sure to enroll your students for the day as soon as possible.
We will cap schools at 30 students to ensure the best experience for as many schools as would like to attend. Additionally, we will cap each school at 8 entries per workshop per session. EX: 8 in Session A and 8 in Session B to make sure that each school has the opportunity to sign students up for sessions and that one school doesn’t receive all 30 slots in CORE Improv before others have the opportunity to sign up.

Teacher Round-Table
This year, for the Teacher Round-table sessions, we encourage you to bring your best lesson plan or a fun, unique classroom activity. We want to use this time to discuss the positives happening in our classrooms and consider how we can best support each other. We hope that you will be able to take these lesson plans back to your classroom! If you are a dual-credit teacher through UCM, this opportunity can count toward your required professional development!
Accommodations
We recognize that this date may conflict with fall show schedules at some schools. If so, we are glad to arrange early departures for your group and provide your students with tickets to an alternative show date, or add you to our Middle School matinee on November 17th at 10:00 AM.
More Opportunities to Visit
We would be thrilled to welcome you and your students back to UCM for a future production or additional campus experiences this year! To arrange another visit, please contact Ashley Miller-Scully (almiller@ucmo.edu) or Dr. Joe Moore (jhmoore@ucmo.edu).
Registration Process
For registration this year, we will be using Forensictournament.net. We understand this may be a new system for you, so we have provided videos to guide you through the registration process.
For this registration process, you will need to submit your student's email address and your own so they can receive email updates about the date. The registration site will have all of the documents you need available to you. If you are having trouble with registration, please email scrank@ucmo.edu.

Please note that due to website system limits, Shrek the Musical is listed as four separate options (Shrek 1–4). These all correspond to the same show at the exact same time; the separate listings simply allow us to manage capacity constraints on our website.
If a performance option appears full when enrolling a student (e.g., Shrek the Musical Performance), please select the next available section: try Shrek 2, followed by Shrek 3, and finally Shrek 4. These numbered options are identical performance times created to work around website capacity limits.
If all four sections are full, performance seating has reached total capacity. However, students are still welcome to enroll in available workshops! You may also contact Ashley Miller-Scully (almiller@ucmo.edu) to inquire about viewing the show on an alternate date.
