On behalf of the MSU Debate Council, we are excited to invite you to attend the Second Annual StarkVegas Debate Invitational on the beautiful campus of Mississippi State University, October 16-18, 2026. 

In our second year, we once again offer the classiest awards for the classiest competitors around - including the ultimate jackpot: the coveted Cowbells of Victory! IPDA high rollers are welcome as always. But to bring new players to the table, we offer a special comp: entry are fees are waived for programs in their first year of debating.

To further sweeten the pot, we offer:

• Six prelim rounds of all four IPDA divisions (Novice, Junior Varsity, Varsity, and Pro) on Saturday with appropriate elim rounds on Sunday
• Four prelim rounds of Team IPDA on Friday with elimination rounds to follow
• Lunch provided on Saturday
• Coach/Judge Lounge with fully stocked (non-alcholic drink and snack) bar!
• Awards for all competitors advancing to elim rounds
• Top 5 speaker awards in every division
• Top 3 sweepstakes awards in TIPDA and Overall Debate, plus our Top Community College Award
• Let us once again emphasize, these awards are nice. We're talking hardwood plaques and trophies with only the classiest faux gold plating, as well as the one and only Legendary Silver Cowbell of Victory.

If you were here last year, you know how we do things in Vegas: great topics, great competition, a great tab staff, awesome awards, and finishing up on time. So come on down (or up, or over) to the greatest little college town around.
