Welcome to the home page for the 2021 LSUS Red River Classic tournament hosted by Louisiana State University Shreveport on Nov 5-7, 2021 for College students.

Dear Colleagues,

 

The LSUS Debate Team invites you to the 46th Annual Red River Classic. This tournament will run Nov. 5-7, 2021. We are planning for this year’s tournament to be face to face, but will also be prepared to shift to a virtual format if this becomes necessary. The Red River Classic will offer competition in all four IPDA divisions (Professional, Varsity, Junior Varsity, & Novice) as well as Team IPDA.

 

All entries must be received by Tue., November 2nd, 2021, at 5:00 pm CDT in ForensicsTournament.net. Changes will be accepted without charge until Thursday., November 4th, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. CDT at which point fees will be set. Late fees will be charged for any changes after the 4th at noon CDT (in addition to any fees associated with the entry); any changes beyond this deadline must be sent to AJ.Edwards@lsus.edu.

 

With the struggle of maintaining a diverse judging pool during a pandemic, we must ask that ALL entries be covered without exception. Our ability to pull students for judging is extremely limited.

 

Enclosed you will find pertinent information about the tournament, fees and accommodations. Pre-tournament updates will be distributed via ForensicsTournament.net. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at any time.

 

Covid protocols: LSUS will follow all state mandates as well as all CDC recommendations. Detailed instructions are contained within the invitation. Masks will be strictly mandated and enforced. We will do our best to maintain social distancing during prep and draw.
