<p>1.If your judges have not been FRED certified, please make sure they do before arriving at the tournament.</p> <p>2. PARKING: Parking on Friday ONLY in general lots, which means Lot 1, 11, 18, 16, and 20. Saturday and Sunday, folks can park in lot 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, which are all near the tournament.</p> <p>3. Sign in for debate on both Friday and Saturday will be in from of PH 140-141.&nbsp; THis is where the judges room will be as well.</p> <p>4. As indicated in the invitation, the prompts for Impromptu will include quotations/proverbs; ethical dilemmas; and Rhetorical Situation/Inquiry&nbsp; (These are common types of prompts at NFA).<br /> Examples:<br /> &nbsp; - <strong>Ethical Dilemma:&nbsp;</strong> While working part-time at a grocery store, you discover one of your co-workers is stealing a small amount of food each day. The co-worker is poverty-stricken and is using the food to feed their family. What do you do?<br /> &nbsp; - <strong>Rhetorical Situation:&nbsp;</strong>&quot;You are a high school student trying to convince the school board<br /> to reinstate music education in your school.&quot;<br /> &nbsp; - <strong>Rhetorical Inquiry:</strong> &quot;What do you think your generation will be remembered for?&quot;</p>
