On  Friday December 6th, 2024  a select group of fantastic MJC Speakers will gather in Founders Hall on MJC's East Campus to compete in a series of events including Informative and Persuasive Speaking, SPAR Style Debate, and a Story Slam.  Entry is restricted to current MJC students AND requires nomination by a MJC Communication Studies Professor.  Reach out to one of them for more information or visit our website.

12:30 pm - 12:45 pm - Registration for Informative and SPAR Participants

1:00 pm Informative Preliminary Round & SPAR Debate R1

1:45 pm- 2:00 pm Late Registration for Persuasive and Story Slam Participants

2:15 pm Persuasive and Story Slam Preliminary Round & SPAR Debate R2

3:30 pm Final Rounds - ALL Events

~4:45pm Awards (ASAP after final rounds)
