Welcome to the home page for the 2024 LFA Candy Cane Classic Virtual Debate tournament hosted by LOGOS FORENSIC ASSOCIATION (Members Only Tournamen on Dec 3-4, 2024 for Various students.

This tournament will be a 2-day tournament. It will be a debate only tournament.

Registration is $10.00 per competitor. We will be awarding the top 10 teams and top 10 speakers.

To save on costs we will be utilizing the Zoom Platform for competitor to enter their virtual rooms. We will not be using the FTN video rooms as there is a monetary charge per person (competitor,coach,and or spectator).

Competitor Information: 

All competitors must review the league's virtual team policy debate rules prior to competing.

Competitors must be able to log into Zoom via a laptop or computor. Cell phones may only be used for verbal communication between partners not in the same location.

Competitors must have the ability to share their evidence as well as their 1AC during a round. This will be done via the chat box of the Zoom Room. During the debtae rounds, ALL competitors must read their evidence as well as their speeches off of a physical hard copy.

Research during a round is strictly prohibited. The use of Artificial Intelligence during a round is strictly prohibited. Any student(s) that are in violation of this rule will be ejected from the tournament and may face disciplinary action through the league's governing board, not limited to the possibility of suspension for the semester that the infraction occurred and/or expulsion from the league.

Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. We are a Christian league with Christian values. We will treat each other with respect. The judge will reserve the right to award an automatic loss to any team that is displaying any unChristianlike behavior.
