The University of Vermont is excited to host the 2024 Huber Debates. Here is important information about the tournament:

REGISTRATION & ACCESSIBILITY ACCOMMODATIONS

Please note the status defined for teams at the tournament: Novice (in their first year of debate at the university level). Rookie (in their first year of debate, no prior debating experience in high school or middle school). ESL/EFL (English as a second or foreign language speaker)

Final registration is due by November 1, 2024. If you have any changes to your institution’s registration after this period, please contact Will Silberman at will.reilley-silberm@laverne.edu. Changes to your registration on the day of the tournament, contact Will. 

Registration is limited to 80 teams and will close once that limit has been reached. Teams registering after the limit has been reached will be placed on a waiting list and notified if other teams drop.

AFTER YOU REGISTER, Please make sure to include the dietary restrictions and accessibility accommodation requirements for each of your teams in your registration. Or, you can also reach out ahead of the tournament to arrange accessibility accommodations by emailing Neil Rohan at Neil.Rohan@uvm.edu.
