<p><strong>You are cordially invited to attend the Dusty Roads Invitational Speech Tournament December 5 and 6, 2014.&nbsp; CARROLL COLLEGE will be hosting the annual Debate Tournament of Champions the same weekend. Invitation and information for that Tournament will be forthcoming from Brent Northup, Carrol College head coach.</strong></p> <p>All speech events and Legislative speaking will be held at Capital High School.</p> <p>Policy, Lincoln-Douglas, and Public Forum will be held at Carroll College.</p> <p>NOTE: <strong>We will also be hosting an Exhibition Event of College-style Parliamentary Debate.</strong> Rounds will be held at Capital High School, with Speech and Legislative Debate.&nbsp; They WILL NOT be held at Carroll College.&nbsp; Send your teams with the speechies. Each school may enter up to two (2) teams of two (2) students each. These teams WILL NOT earn sweepstakes points, but can earn NFL points (Coaches Discretion).These teams will be charged normal registration. <strong>PLEASE SEE INFORMATION PAGE ON PARLIMENTARY DEBATE under documents. </strong></p> <p>YOU MUST REGISTER SEPERATELY FOR HELENA DUSTY ROADS SPEECH TOURNAMENT AND CARROLL DEBATE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS.</p> <p><strong>Registration:</strong> Preliminary registration must be done by Nov. 14 so we can get an idea of rooms and judges.</p> <ul> <li>Register online at http://www.forensicstournament.net/DustyRoads/14/</li> <li>There is a limit of 4 entries per event, except Parliamentary Debate &ndash; which is limited to 2 teams.</li> <li>There will be no penalty fee for drops or changes up to Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 4:00PM.</li> <li>Any changes after Wednesday 4:00PM will be assessed a $5.00 penalty and must be submitted by email to <a href=\"mailto:Jenk@aclumontana.org\">Jenk@aclumontana.org</a></li> <li>Any changes on Friday, Dec 5 will be assessed a $20.00 penalty and must be submitted by phone to Jen at 406-531-7449</li> <li>Entry fee of $5.00 per student, based on registration. Schools will be billed after the meet.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Topics:</strong>&nbsp; We will be using the November/December LD Topic: <em>Resolved: The &quot;right to be forgotten&quot; from Internet searches ought to be a civil right. </em>We will be using the Nov/Dec topics for Legi and December topic for Public Forum. \\</p> <p><strong>Concessions</strong>: will be available to students. If you would like to arrange for group billing, please let me know. We are happy to track your students&rsquo; purchases and invoice you for the total amount.
