<p>Dear Coaches,</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Capital High School and Helena High School cordially invite you to the 2013 Dusty Roads Speech &amp; Debate Invitationall, to be held December 6-7th, 2013 in Helena, Montana.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Some information that you may find useful:</p> <ul> <li>The tournament will feature all MHSA sanctioned events.</li> <li><strong>All </strong>events will be held at <strong>Capital High School</strong> (100 Valley Drive, Helena)</li> <li>Each team may enter 42 contestants/slots maximum, with a maximum number of 4 contestants/teams in each event. We will not offer any novice or JV entries.</li> <li>Please remember that all competitors are responsible for timers.</li> <li>This tournament will be computer-tabbed. The schedule has been optimized to make this as efficient as possible. The computer will be set to take double-entry into consideration when pairing IE rounds.</li> <li>All competitors will compete in five preliminary rounds; debate events will break to quarters, and speech will break to semi&rsquo;s. Awards will be given to the top 8 competitors.&nbsp;</li> <li>The Carroll College Speech &amp; Debate team will be providing all the judges for the debate out rounds.</li> <li>Registration will be electronic.&nbsp; Preliminary entries are due by Wednesday, November 27th &nbsp;by 4:00 PM.</li> <li>Entries should be online at www.forenesicstournaments.net.&nbsp; Changes can be made until December 5th at 4 p.m. with no charge.&nbsp; Any changes made after that will incur a $10.00 fee. Changes/drops on the day of the tournament will incur a $20.00 fee.</li> <li>The fees for the tournament are $4 per slot. Schools will be invoiced for the cost of their entries.
