<p><strong>Registration & Fees: All registration should be complete by November 30 and will take place online at </strong>http://www.forensicstournament.net/Columbus_Invitational/16<strong>. A fee of $5 will be charged per student (i.e. Humorous Duo is $10). Changes can be made to that registration until December 7 at 4pm with no extra charge. Any drops or adds after that should be emailed to johannalkern@icloud.com and will incur an $5 fee per student.</strong></p>
<p><strong>There will not be on-site registration. A roster of students with school codes will be sent out Friday. Coaches are responsible for checking this list and making sure it is correct. Please email corrections as indicated above. Last minute changes may be texted to Johanna Kern at 406-861-8069. </strong></p>
<p><strong>MHSA Rules: For all events, MHSA B/C rules will apply. Double entries will not be allowed due to space limitations. Please note that judge restrictions may be lifted if needed. ALL EVENTS WILL FOLLOW class B/C TIMING RULES-PLEASE REVIEW THE PROCEDURE WITH YOUR STUDENTS.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Policy Resolution: </strong></p>
<p><strong>Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its economic and/or diplomatic engagement with the People’s Republic of China.</strong></p>
<p><strong>LD Resolution:Resolved: The United States ought to limit qualified immunity for police officers.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Food: Concessions will be available for competitors throughout the day. Lunch will be provided for coaches and bus drivers.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Awards: Trophies will be given to winning teams in each class. There will be awards and certificates for all events. </strong></p>

<p><strong>Parking: Buses drop off on the west side of the High School and park in the same area. At the Elementary School park on the south side of the playground.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Areas: Prelim rounds of drama-Elementary School, 218 E. 1st Ave., all Speech and Debate and ALL FINALS-High School/Middle School, 433 N. 3rd St. The Elementery School is 2 blocks from the High School.</strong></p>
