<p>Colleagues,</p> <p>The Ball State University Speech Team is pleased to invite you to the Cardinal Clash on <strong>Sunday, January 18, 2015</strong>.&nbsp; This tournament will be held in conjunction with Butler University&rsquo;s Bulldog Battle. &nbsp;Both tournaments will take place on the <strong>Butler University campus</strong> in Indianapolis, the Crossroads of America.&nbsp; The campus is just four hours from Ann Arbor and St. Louis, three hours from Chicago, Columbus (OH), and Lexington (KY), and two hours from Louisville and Cincinnati.</p> <p>The Cardinal Clash will offer competition in all NFA individual events on Sunday and will also offer POI.&nbsp; For Impromptu we will use a variety of prompts such as quotations, proverbs, rhetorical situations, and signal words. &nbsp;Tabulation and event rules will follow NFA guidelines.</p> <p>We look forward to welcoming you and your students to the Cardinal Clash.&nbsp; We hope to see you in January!</p> <p>Sincerely,</p> <p><strong>Mary Moore, Ashley Coker, &amp; Michael Storr</strong></p> <p><a href=\"mailto:bsuspeech@bsu.edu\">bsuspeech@bsu.edu</a></p> <p>(765) 285-1882</p>
