In conjunction with the HMDC Forensics Team, Concordia University Irvine's Forensics Team is pleased to welcome you to the first tournament in the Concordia Public Forum Series! The tournament will be held online during October on two days in October. In the United States, rounds will occur on October 5th and 19th, 2024. while in Asia, those rounds happen on October 6th and 20th. The first two rounds will take place on October 5th/6th, while the third and fourth rounds will happen on the 19th (USA) / 20th (Asia)
This tournament is entirely free!
Please submit entries by 8:00 pm (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024.
Four rounds of Public Forum debate will be offered for debaters in High School, Middle School, and Elementary School divisions. Teams winning all 4 debates will receive Superior certificates, teams earning 3 wins will receive Excellence certificates. Additionally, the top 5 speakers in each division will receive an award.
Teams will debate the September/October 2024 NSDA national topic: Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially expand its surveillance infrastructure along its southern border.
