<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You are cordially invited to attend the Columbia Falls Invitational Speech/Debate/Drama Tournament on Friday and Saturday, January 5-6, 2018.</p> <p>Entry Deadline: Initial registration must be completed online no later than December 13, 2017 by 5:00 pm at <a href=\"http://www.forensicstournament.net/CFalls_Invitational/18\">http://www.forensicstournament.net/CFalls_Invitational/18</a>. After Dec 13 the Forensic Tournament site will be set to no new schools. Additions will be closed on Friday, Dec 22. Drops will be closed on Jan 3 (Wednesday) so that we may begin sectioning events and finalize rooms and judges. Drops after this time should go to Tara Norick at tnorick@gmail.com.</p> <p>Entries: Teams are allowed to enter 3 entries per event and then email me a wish list for the JV competitors in each event. I anticipate that this will be a large meet and we are limited by space. I will use every room in the buildings to allow as many competitors as possible to attend, but JV spots are not guaranteed. I will notify you of the status of your JV entries on Jan 2 or earlier. &nbsp;</p> <p>Rules: MHSA rules for State Class A Competitions will be followed. Binders are required in interp. Debate topics are as indicated in the MHSA Handbook. LD will use the NSDA Jan/Feb topic and PF will use the NSDA January topic. Debate rounds 1 and 2 will be pre-paired and rounds 3-5 will be paired based on the previous round. Quarterfinal debate rounds may have a single judge depending on judge availability. Comment Sheets may be printed on small (8.5 x 11) paper.</p> <p>Registration: Registration will be handled online. You will be emailed your entry sheets with codes, maps, and other information on Thursday. Please check registration carefully and notify me immediately of any changes. Invoices will be emailed following the tournament.</p> <p>PLEASE CALL OR TEXT IN ANY CHANGES FROM THE BUS TO TARA NORICK AT (406) 249-6177. &nbsp;PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE VOICEMAIL.</p> <p>Shuttle between Schools: Columbia Falls will provide a shuttle for coaches to go between schools or into town if needed so bus drivers can have the time off during the tournament.</p> <p>Concessions: Concessions will be available at the high school only. We are working to get food trucks at the schools. More information on this to come. Meals will be provided for all coaches and drivers.</p> <p>Tournament Schedule: Rounds will be at Columbia Falls High School (Speech) and Columbia Falls Junior High (Debate).
