Speech and Debate Tournament

Brentwood Middle School is happy to invite you to the 3rd annual speech and debate tournament in Greeley, Colorado.
We will be offering the following events:

Duo Acting, Humor Acting, Drama Acting, Poetry, Prose, Impromptu, Public Forum Debate 

Students may enter in one event only. Only 5 entries per event/per school: NON-NEGOTIABLE.

PFD Topic Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially reduce its restrictions on

legal immigration to the United States.

Impromptu Format: There will be 3 rounds of impromptu: Creative Storytelling, Phrase/Quote, Commercial

Helpful Info:

-Pizza, drinks, and snacks will be available for students to purchase. Dinner will be provided for coaches and judges.
-There 
must be an adult present to chaperone the students who is also available to judge if needed.
-Fee for entries is $5 per student (Public Forum is $10 and Duo is $10).

-Make entry fee checks payable to “Brentwood Middle School” -You can bring checks the day of the tournament or mail checks to:
