<p><strong>Welcome to the 2014 British Columbia Collegiate Canada Summer Invitational Tournament</strong></p> <p><span style=\"line-height:1.6em\">Welcome to the first of hopefully several English language speech and debate tournaments. This tournament will provide students with a unique and rewarding public speaking experience. Each event will challenge students to perform research and writing, which will stimulate critical reading, writing and thinking skills. Our learning environment will be safe, highly educational and hopefully quite enjoyable for all of our participants. We welcome you to our campus and promise to provide the best possible forensics experience.</span></p> <p><strong>3 Divisions* (per event):</strong> Elementary (4-6th), Middle School (6**-8th), High School (9-12th)<br /> <em>*Each division has &quot;Restricted&quot; (or inexperienced)&nbsp;and Open (2+ tournaments, 1st-3rd prize in prior contest)<br /> **6th graders can compete in either Elementary or the Middle School division, whichever they prefer.</em></p> <p><strong><span style=\"line-height:1.6em\">Events</span></strong><span style=\"line-height:1.6em\"><strong>:</strong> Public Forum Debate, Lincoln Douglas (LD) Debate, Original Oratory, &amp; Extemporaneous Speaking.</span><br /> <em>Note: We are using the NFL-US &amp; NFL-Korea rules for our events.
