Dear Colleague:

Colorado College cordially invites you to attend the James ‘Al’ Johnson & Mike Edmonds Speech and Debate Invitational to take place on the CC campus in Colorado Springs, on October 18-19^th. We are excited to welcome you to the CC campus in Olympic City, USA!

This year’s tournament, a tribute to our city’s Olympic history, will include 11 AFA-NST individual events (open division only), and one IPDA debate tournament. The IE competition will be on Friday and the debate tournament will be held Saturday, with four preliminary and two to three elimination rounds of open IPDA debate. Tournament entries, submitted via Forensicstournament.net, should be received no later than Monday, Oct. 14^th. In addition to our Olympic-themed impromptu quotations and awards ceremony, we will also be honoring former Senior Vice President of Colorado College and National Speech & Debate Association Hall of Fame inductee, Mike Edmonds, at this year’s event. (That means cake!)

The invitation includes all tournament information and logistics. If there is a question you don't find answered, please contact us. We expect this year's tournament to draw outstanding competition that will be complemented by an excellent tab room staff. We hope that you will join us in the shadow of beautiful Pikes Peak for a superb fall tournament.
