Tentative Schedule
Friday September 28
11:30 AM Show Debate before audience of about 100 employees at the Microsoft PAC in near by Redmond (submit bid for your team to speak)
2:00 -- 3:20 PM Debater and judge training at the NU campus in Kirkland. All students and judges required to attend.
3:30 -- 5:30 PM Round one
snacks provided
5:30 -- 7:30 PM Round two (topic for round two will announced two weeks in advance, public will be invited to watch all rounds)
Saturday September 29
8:00 AM Coffee and snacks
8:30 -- 10:30 AM Round three
10:30 -- 12:30 PM Round four
12:30 PM buffet lunch provided
1:30 -- 3:30 PM Round five
3:30 -- 5:30 PM Semi or Finals (or as soon as possible)
5:30 Awards, additional final rounds following if needed.
Awards will be square coffee mugs (look really nice)
Educational focus with debate training booklet, handouts, educational webpages and ongoing support after the tournament for new programs.
